How to get rid of dust

Over the years the clear plastic lense in front of the guages has collected a thin layer of dust on the back side of the lense, I'm guessing through the cut outs for the odometer buttons. What kind of a job is it to remove the lense for cleaning without messing with the whole guage assembly or taking apart my dash.

I have always wondered that myself. I hope someone can tell us. I am afraid I will break the plastic.

Well you did'nt say what year of truck, the ones I have taken apart and cleaned were 67-72 and 73-79 and they were real easy! The ones that were
73-79 once you remove the surround then theres just push in tabs holding the
clear lense, they pull out and then they just push right back in.

p.s If you are working on a 61-66 when your pulling the bezel be ready to
catch the round glass! Real GLASS!
