On my control line birds - i used to get a fat prop (much bigger diameter than called for by engine size) and shorten & balance it.
This gave a bigger draft, and the RPM was tailored by trial and error.
Mostly error...
I called this "Fat Prop Tech" - you can run an .049 with a much bigger engine rated prop and get a far fatter back-draft out of it. The rotation mass had a tendancy to maintain rpms when the prop took a bigger bite.
