First PSD - need advice please
I just purchased a 96 E350 7.3, drw. I have been running a 90 IDI that I am keeping. The 96 has 65k. It starts and runs fine. It shifts ok too. No leaks, very clean. I am using it for work, but I want to make a few mods. I am just not sure where to start. I see threads about an intake from NAPA. Will this work on an E series? I can get another muffler. I do not want to go with a chip. I am using it to tow a trailer and work. I just need some basics that are reasonable in cost. Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Also is anyone familiar with something called an Electronic Systems Eliminator for the trans? If you look at freewaytransmissions.com and click the bottom right, red, ESE icon, you can see it. It sounds good, but most snake oil does.

In order of importance: Exhaust Gas Temp, Tranny Temp (if its an auto), Boost, Real Oil Pressure (not the simulated Oil Pressure that is stock), Whatever you want some people like a fuel pressure gauge and others like Oil Temp.
Most folks do the A pillar pod with EGT, Tranny, and Boost
Brand not important I run Isspro others like Autometer and I am sure there are proponents for other brands.
