F150 Cold hard start

My F-150 won't start if the temp goes below 50 F. I have had it into the Dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong. I must correct that, they did replace the Air Bypass Valve but, it continues to not start. If I place my 500watt light under the hood for about a 1/2 hrs it will start. My problem is that I have left the truck with the dealer overnight and it starts in the morning for them. Do you have any suggestion or has any one come across this with their truck.

If your problem is related to a sensor,I would blame the CTS{coolant temp sensor, not guage sendor}.It tells the computer to richen the fuel for a cold start and lean it out as the temperature rises.Did you ever try playing with the gas pedal when it doesn't start? This could be what there mechanics are doing! Your problem could be as simple as moisture on the coil/plug wires or inside the dist. cap also, not to mention the plugs themselves.Have you tuned it up lately?

Yes, I have tried to play with the gas pedal but, then you can smell gasoline. Then I disengage the fuel shut switch so that we don't flood the engine anymore. As for the tune up I have replaced the plugs with platinum Bosh plugs and the wires are only a year old cap and rotor replace at that time. I remove the plugs and clean off the gas. So, do you still think that the CTS is still my problem.
