7.3 turbo surging problem please help
let me strat by saying i bought this truck a year ago and it just had an injector pump put in it is a 1994 7.3 turbo diesel. it sat for a year in storage. when i put it on the road it drove fine for about 20 miles then i went away for the weekend. when i came back and started it up the engine would surge between 1500 rpm and 2000 rpm at all times. i lowered the idle screw to keep it from over idling but it still surges. any ideas anyone?

Also I wouldn't call that turbo surge, maybe engine surge. How old is the fuel?
