This is a popular thread here-I would suggest (and just purchased) the Ford ESP! Pricey but you want to make sure they are there to take care of you down the road. Purchased a non factory warranty on a Suburban and the comapny went belly-up with my money and claims un-paid! Caveat emptor!
I think you can only purchase the Ford ESP warranty if the vehicle has less than 36,000 miles and is not older than 3 years. I would not purchase any other warranty than the Ford ESP.
raineytx, was your warranty through Warranty Gold? I purchased a 5 year 150,000 mile warranty throught them for $1,500 on my old Expedition and they filed for bankruptcy a week after I made the final payment for there worthless warranty.
