IDLE WOES
I HAVE A 91 E350 WITH A NEW 351.THE MOTOR HAS A NEW CRANE CUMPUTER CAM ,NEW TPS,IDLE AIR MOTOR,EGR,DISTRIBUTOR MOD . IT WILL IDLE HIGH MOST OF THE TIME , BUT IF YOU SLAP THE PEDAL FAST THE IDLE WILL COME DOWN UNTIL YOU HIT THE GAS AGAIN.I HAD THE TRUCK CHECKED BUT THEY FOUND NO CODES.ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE HELPFUL

My 302 was doing the same thing, and for me a little white lithium grease on the linkage at the throttle body did the trick. Also you might try try taking your throttle cable loose at the throttle body, then operate the throttle by hand and see if your idle stays down. if it stays down the problem is probably in the pedal or cable. Hope this helps
