Does anyone know where the wires are for the daytime driving lights? Or more specifically where I can cut and cap off for it? I have an 04 F-350 CC. I don't like my lights being on all the time. I would like to disconnect it like I did my 01 7.3. Where can I disconnect this? On the 7.3 it was a resister that you could just clip on the drivers side inside fender. I cannot find it on the 6.0.
mine are not daytime running lights are you sure yours are? To get mine to stay on I have to pull and turn the switch to the left for the lights to come on in low light conditions. Daytime running lights were not an option I am aware of. Also there is a sensor someplace on the dash for the lights to illuminate but again it all depends on where the light switch is set.
No for some reason mine have only the three way switch. OFF, Parking Lights, and On. However; even when off if the emergency brake is off then the lights are on. Very dim but all the time no matter what.
Haven't tryed it myself, mine doesn't have'm, but the Day Time Lamp resistor is mounted Left front/forward of the ABS Controller.. Two wire, Y/B & O/LG attached to the sheet metal and close to one of the chassis/lighting grounds..
Well that did it. I thought I would have to clip something but it was an easy disconnect. Thanks a lot. Finally when I turn my lights off they actually go off.
Was just down in San Diego a couple weeks ago.. Our son just processed out of the Marines at Pendelton.. Hadn't seen him in over a year.. Great to have'm home..
