auto tranny shift sequence...?

does anyone know the shift sequence for the 4R100... is it 1, 2, 3, tc lock-up, 4 when you accelorate to highway speed...?

I beleive that's the way it goes. I've tried to get my TC to lock in second gear before the shift to third, but haven't ever got it to do it.

ahhh... so... the next question... when my tc locks up... i get this noise... it's not really a shudder.. but it sounds like one... it's a low frequency vibration that has a dull quickly pulsating sound, almost like a manual if you shift it too soon.... and it is more pronounce if the tc locks up while i'm still accelerating... this is why i notice it when i'm getting on the highway... any thoughts...?
