just a story

my son was up for Fathers day and we spent some time in the garage looking at our 390 project....my wife was working in her garden!!! and it reminded me of a freind who worked for a company the bought a dozen 427 engines(about 1965) that they used to power these big fans to use in the fields to stop frost on the vegetables...I think they built them for a company named National Frost.. sorry memory isn't to good.. we spend many nights burning the midnight oil trying to find a way to get one of these motors.......LOL...any one else have a strange application to share?

I heard that the 428 was a favorite in western Kansas to power the small oil wells that you use to see as you traveled the interstate.

Well Here in the Southeast, Ford use to have exclusive rights by the government for any farm oner 500 acre's..427's and 428's.... But the Damn roundy round guys bought them all up and trashed em!!
