I have a 2001 Edge With a 3.0. It has almost 60,000 miles on it and recently it started to sound like it was missing. I run Premium Gas and every other week i run fuel treatment. Could the plugs be bad or do i have other problems? Thanks
unless your truck requires premium fuel, you do not need it. it has no benefits over regular fuel. also, you do not need to add fuel treatment every other week, that is overkill. most fuels these days already have additives in them. if you are running ethanol blended fuel then you dont need any fuel additive at all.
Back off on the fuel additive for a few tanks, if you still have the miss it could be the additive burned up the plugs, pull one and see how it looks.

My 99 Owners manual cautiones against using mid-grade or premium fuels,as they can cause excessive engine deposits & drve~ability problems.
As has been said, there is no beinfit to using higher octane in these engines & constant use can cause the problems your trying to prevent.
I too would pull the plugs & see what story they tell.
If you'll use a regular "Top Tier" gasoline, like Chevron, Texaco, ect & switch between the two best performing fuels every 6 months, you'll not need to add extra fuel additives.
Switching fuel brands every 6 months, will cause one brands additives to clean the others deposits, on a regular basis, thus keeping things much cleaner inside, over contantly using only one brand.
It'll require about 5 tanks of gas or about 1000 miles of diving, for one brands additives to clean the others deposits, without adding extra detergents.
Let us know how the plugs look.
You might also try having the computer scanned for codes at your favorite autoparts store, just in case something else hurts, maybe it's stored a clue for whatever it is, so post all the codes you find.
