possible head problem?
oN MY 98 4.6 130,000mi. I got a code 304(#4 misfire),changed the plugs, got to #4 , pulled the boot and it was wet with coolant.Istarted back up ,it still stumbled abit after , but it did clear up and noticed that coolant was coming out of the exhaust initially(maybe whatever pooled up around the plug went into the ccylinder and burned off).My mech. suggested trying a sealer first. Has this happened to anyone, and what can I expect? Thanx

i would check to see if you have any coolant hoses above that cylinder..... on my 99 f250 5.4, there is a fitting right above it which is known to leak into that cylinder port and short out the coil......how long did you see coolant in the exhaust? if it didnt last long, then i wouldnt assume there was anything wrong with the head.... you could try to pressure test your coolant system to see how the pressure holds, or drops(hopefully not the case)... good luck !!
