just thought i'd let you know that i just dropped my truck off at the mechanic to get it Motorvac'd. I will post later to let you all know if i notice any difference in performance, and if it's worth the hundred bucks or not.
just got the truck back. so far it does seem smoother and a tad stronger, but i didn't really have time to thoroughly test it (just on lunch break). i will take the truck for a good drive later today, and post my final thought later...if anyone is interested
well, so far the truck does seem to run smoother, and it accelarates a little faster and stronger. don't know if the MPG has improved yet, though. overall, i'd say it was worth the $100, at least in my case.
Just think about all that crud that got dislodged when he "vac'd" your engine. Some of it was "melted" by the high temps inside the chamber and then lodged to the plug ceramic. The rest got blown out through the exhaust.Get some new plugs if you haven't done yet.I highly recommend it.

i didn't even consider that. i recently changed the plugs and wires (among other things). since all the parts are fairly new, would it be okay if i just changed the plugs, and left the current wires and other stuff in?
