stock straight pipe

hey guys i want to straight pipe my stock exhaust by eliminating the stock muffler and just adding a pipe in its place, but i want to know has anyone done this and how much louder (if any) will it be in the cab??? i dont really want any more noise in the cab if possible, i have done the "kwik" mod and i want the turbo to realy zing, so i was thinking if i straight pipe the exhaust the turbo will scream!!

talk to me

yeah, getting rid of the muffler and the cat (if you have one) will make it sing if you have the Kwikk filter too. it won't be much louder inteh cab since your still exiting in the stock location (stacks on the other hand like i have, loud ALL the time in the cab). just stright pipe it, you'll like it. sounds awesome.

I did the Walker Big Truck Muffler, straight through 4" design. My muffler guy said this was better cause all he could find was 3" pipe in his shop. Got alot of turbo sing and it is loud when you romp on it, but almost same as stock with normal driving.
