Air conditioner and heater are on one fuse which is a 30 amp 3AG this should be the top fuse in your box.
Back up lamps, Turn signal lamps, and windshield washer are on one fuse which is a 14 Amp SFE14. This will be the second fuse from the top.
Instrument panel, cluster ilumination, ash tray light, transmision indicator light (automatic) radio lamp, heater/Ac lamp, head lamp/windshield wiper switch ilumintaion lamp are on the third fuse down which is a 3 Amp AGA3.
Courtesy, Dome, Cargo, glove box lamp, and cigar lighter are on one fuse which is a 15 Amp AGW15. This will be the fuse to the left on the bottom.
The last fuse that is on the bottom and to the right will be for the stop lamps. It is a 20 Amp fuse that is an AGX20.
I'm not sure how to post a picture of this. I couldn't get the correct sizes from the shop manual. I got these from the owner's manual that is in the glove box.
If my explination confused you, holler back and we'll figure it out.

I know someone who has an extra one.
I think the fuses from the 78 would have the same values as the 75.

Gas hog, I'd offer you one of mine, but my truck is actualy a 73, and thats what my manuals are for. I have 2 75 model parts trucks so I compared the fuse boxes and they're the same box. Therefore the information I posted is from a 73, but it's the same for a 75.
Mil1ion, I'm pretty sure a 78 does have the same values as a 75, but starting in 77, the fuse boxes held 12 fuses as opposed to 5. I posted the 76 and older fuse box to avoid any confusion.

Dennis....Actualy you have great pictures and diagrams in your gallery....I'm just a bone head that forgets to direct people there. I'll try to remember to redirect people in the future. I actualy went through 2 or 3 books and my shop manual thats on CD before I remembered that the required information was in the owners manual. It would have been so much easier and faster to direct him to your gallery. It looks like some people are determined to do it the hard way.
