Got my truck!!
I sold my Bronco this past Friday, test drove several trucks on Saturday, bought this one on Sunday.
It's a 2001 XLT Super Crew 5.4 4x4 - take a look at my gallery and see if you can guess the miles.
I've been after one of these trucks for almost three years now. Guess all the stars got lined up for me last week. I've already ordered a Leer fiberglass camper shell and a pair of Westin nerf bars. Next month will be a K-n-N drop in filter, a set of full-cover floor liners with the tall edges for both the front and back, and water-proof seat covers like I had in the Bronco. Got's to keep the mud and dog hair where it belongs....
Man, this 5.4 can really scoot. I'm going to have to be very careful not to have a meeting with The Man. As for gas mileage, I'll take 16.5 mpg (so far) any day over the 10 I was getting in the Bronco.

it looks just like mine when i first bough mine 2 yrs ago. and about the miles. i have 112,000 mi on mine and no major problems out of the 5.4 . nice truck, if you check out my gallery you can see what can look like with a 3" body lift and 285/75 16 BFGs

Thanks for playing, but you're all wrong! Would you believe it has 106K miles on it??
I test drove several others, includiing a few Lariats, with 70K or less that were mutts compared to this thing. This was by far the most "preserved" one of them all - not to mention $3500 cheaper than all the others.
There's only about 5-6 small scratches, and no dents or dings. Other than one small hole in the driver's seat (being fixed for free by the dealer today) the interior is perfect - I'll post some more photos when I get it back next week.
It's been thouroughly checked out and has passed all the tests. I guess it didn't move well b/c of the miles - heck the dealership even added a free bedliner. Knowing what they say about things that seem to good to be true, I picked up a 1 year 12K mile warranty - just in case.
As for the Bronco - it had a 302 in it that was showing 165K on the clock. I realy loved that truck, but we pull a camper a good bit and just wanted something a little newer with a larger engine. I can't for our next camping trip!!!
