towing a camper
I have a 97 4.6 150 4x4 and was needing to know if this engine could handle towing a 32 foot goose neck camper , which the actual camper is probably 26 foot , don't know the weight . And how much difference in changing the chip would it make .

I have a 2000 f150 s/c 4x4, 5.4. My fifthwheel (2005 rockwood ) is 26 ft long and weights 6000 dry and 1300 bed weight. The truck does a good job pulling it. slows down on a good upgrade thou. I also added Timbren's to the rear to help the springs out. Remember the weight of all the extra's, firewood ,cooler, food, holding tanks.ETC.
I am sure that I am at 7000-7500 loaded. (truck rated at 8200)
