I just wanted to see if you guys heard about this new truck. It's suspposed to be a damn nice truck. And I believe it. It is from Honda afterall and they make really good cars. Then I saw a comparison against a F-150 and apparantly it towed just as much. And Hondas are really reliable too. I think F-150 and even 250s have some competition in town. The Ridgeline even won a lot of comparisons against the F-series. Besides, when you think about it it is really innovative too. Did you hear about the cargo truck space it has under the bed? Honda did it again!
I saw one the other day and it does look like an Avalanche, both of which have limited hauling space in the bed, but heck I don't have any hauling space in my Mountaineer!

FYI, the Ridgeline is only rated to tow 5K lbs, so it doesn't tow as much as either an F150 or 250, what the comparison you are referring to showed was that the Ridgeline towed 5000lbs as "easily" or as well as the F150. However, since an F150 can tow up to 9900 lbs, it all depends on what you need to tow.
It is one of the ugliest things on the road. How the hell is that POS going to compete with real pick-ups? It's basically a slightly smaller underpowered Avalanche with even uglier styling.
Sounds like you need to go buy one and join a Honda club.
Don't believe all that BS you read. Folks that bought that new and improved Nissan crap have a different opinion now also!
It is pretty evident that Hondas are more reliable than Fords, but I wouldn't buy that Ridgeline because it looks funny. I don't like that slanted bed. Otherwise, I'd be ready to trade in my rattletrap 2003 6.0 F250 on something a little more reliable and refined, like the Ridgeline.
Yeah, my Honda mower has been really good. Maybe I would buy a Honda generator. But my trimmer is a Stihl, and my truck is a Ford. There is no way I would buy a Honda car yet alone a truck. They make a Diesel Ridgeline... don't think so.
its just honda's way of trying to get into the suv and truck market, by throwing something out there. that thing is a joke, i wouldnt be caught dead in it, it just pisses me off seeing it and the commercials, honda atv's on the other hand, yeah id take one of those.

Evident in what way??? I'm not aware of any proof to justify this statement. I will put any one of my Fords up against any Honda in any type of endurance test.

OK, you like the Honda. Go buy one, bring it here to Houston and I would be more than happy to hook my bone stock F-250 up to your new toy truck bumper to bumper and show you why your new toy will not be any competition for an F-250. You may want to have a new tranny lined up before hand and get some idea as to what happens to the Honda engine when it's forcibly turned backwards being towed backward around a parking lot while the drive train is engaged in a low forward gear.
Tom
Why don't you go buy one and lets get together and hook a chain between our rigs and see if they are really comparable as you say. I would love to drag that thing around just like my kid drags his toys around. What ever is left I will pick up and throw in the back of my truck and take it home for you.
