Actually .70.
Scroll down and check out the alternative fuel forum or do internet searches for BD but .70 is the lowest considering you have a still, collect the waste oil on your time and buy the lye and methanol(biggest cost).
Stacey "Trucks" tv show did a special on it last week.
I said 1.00 but it can be done for less.

Now that I think about it though, they are called Black Oil Sunflowers. Hmmmm... Maybe Biosun is not toooooo far fetched after all.

The only way to solve Fuel price problem is to have our own Government add a .01 cent tax per month, on all fuel made from petrolum. I burn about $7,200.00 per year and would be happy to see this come to pass. If that would have been done in 1990 the next Gen. of fuel (most likely Biodiesel, WVO or VVO ) would alreadly be on the market and it would be cheaper than Diesel. Like Gale Banks said " Then we would be giving our money or our own farmers instead of people who want to kill us"

$2.21 at Diamond Shamrock, higher everywhere else, except my corner store is still at $2.18 for some reason. Probably until she gets the next shipment. Gotta go git some .

2.29 is the best I can find in the detroit area most are 2.39 - 2.49. This is getting old! Why is diesel more than gas? I would expect some of the semi drivers are getting a little torked over this. Maby a demonstration is coming? Gota stop it someway.

If you want to know how much taxes you are paying, go to Google and type in "Motor Fuel Excise Tax Rates". There will be several choices, you might want to look at two or three different ones, I think they all give about the same info. (Fl diesel tax is 27.2 + Fed. tax of 24.4 = 51.6 cents per gal total tax). Fl gas is only 32.8 cents per gal. total.
