Remote Start Installation question
I'm trying to install an OEM remote starter system in my 2001 Explorer. I've been able to find pretty much all the wires that I need except for the "Black/Pink" "Key Sense" wire that's supposed to be to the "right of column." Can't seem to find it. Does anybody have a more specific location other than "plug right of column." There are a few plugs to the right of the steering column, and I just don't see anything that resembles pink with black or black with pink. Anybody have any ideas?

The black with the pink stripe should be in the bundle of wires that go to your ignition switch.. Most people will cut this wire so they don't have to listen to the ding ding if you want to leave the keys in the ignition while you have the door open.
