There is currently a alum. intake manifold with a 600 CFM carb, all rebuilt with all gaskets for 400$ dollars. This is a factory built manifold. Do you guys think it is worth the money. It looks to be in good condition. I don't know what this thing is worth honestly. Thanks
personally I think it's about $200 to high, carb new cost about $235, and you can by an aftermarket alum intake for around $125 that will be much better performance wise than the factory alum ones.
Depends on what factory aluminum intake it is. Something like a C9OX 351W intake or a 428PI intake? Yea that's a good price. If it's something like a mid 80's 302 or 351 intake? No, it's not.
Hi, i thought id just ask a question on this thread. I got a factory 2bbl alum intake for my 351w. supposedly its from a cop car. I don't know. It hasnt arrived yet so i cant look at cating numbers. I got it just so i could get rid of the stock cast iron one. Does anybody know where it might have come from? Or anymore about stock manifolds. Thanks.
