tailgate window glass removal?
I have looked at many of the posts about the rear window. None of them have been very clear on how to get the glass out of the way. My tailgate window is down and won't go up. I can't work on the wiring because it is all behind the glass. I just want to move the glass out of the way so that I can get to the wiring. Can you just remove the 4 nuts or do the rivets also have to be removed. I have had this problem before and was able to fix it but the window was stuck up not down so I could get to it all.
Please tell me how to move the glass out of my way.

Just look through these pics and read all the captions under them. There is a easy way to remove the glass.

once you take the shield off manually close the latches on the side of the tailgate. raise glass bout half way and unbolt the glass from the arms. pull glass . out not all the way and put sumthin there to rest on . its pretty easy once ya get in there
