Ok, so when the truck('93 F-150 I6) had any sort of load over, say... 200lbs. and you go to stop or slow down the truck sways back in forth. The heavier the load the more violent the swaying is... Any ideas on what this might be? Anyone elses truck do this? Thanks in advance!
First guess...shocks, have they been replaced lately?
Also, my 92 F150 came with a stabilizer bar for the front and rear. One of the bolts pulled loose on the front and caused a similar situation. I imagine that if you were running under a load, the rear may be experiencing the same issue. Check the rear suspension for breaks and or loose bolts particularly around the stabilizer bar.
