We have a 95 F250, Powerstroke diesel. Yesterday, the horn starting chirping. Futher investigation showed the horn realy was chattering. When we pushed the horn button on the steering wheel the horn stuck on, and we had to pull the relay to make it stop.
Hmm, maybe the pushbuttons on the steering wheel are starting to fail (the springs) or possibly you spilled something sticky on your steering wheel and the switch is sticking.
Not too difficult to remove. By the way, the Horn electrical system requiered grund from Horn buttons to activate realy, it means if horn cable gets ground by an insulation failure it's going to sound also, check wire insulation at stering wheel also.

Yes, that is a possibility too, a very good possibility. The wire that goes from the push-buttons on the steering wheel all the way to the relay for the horn could have rubbed against the chassis (a sharp edge) and is causing a short
