well this weekend i will be pulling motor and replacing the head gaskets i know it can be done without pulling motor but i need to drop the pan and get all the water out and check for any damage inside. so i will probably be asking more questions thru the week. thanks for the replys
so should i just pull the intake first and check it? if i drain all the oil and water out of the crankcase and comp the motor would that tell me if the head gaskets are good?
I think also I would..Depending on how much water got inside the engine? Flush it out with some ATF and Desiel fuel.....to help clean all the water out of the block and internal parts....drain and then replace it with the oil of your choise...run the engine for a few hours and then replace it again.. JMO..
