Trailer light problems
I have an 01 Ranger and am having problems with the driver side turn signal for the trailer light. I have checked the fuse and it is fine. does anyone have a wiring diagram for an 01 ranger for the trailer lights.

Four prong plug in:
Four prong wiring is as follows: ground, running lamps, teft turn, right turn. The ground is, of course, the plug that is different than the others. Does your left brake light work?? Most of the time when you are having issues like this , it turns out to be the trailer.

take a voltmeter and stick it in each hole and activate each wire. flip your lights on and test for voltage on the brown wire, do the left and right turn and do the yellow and green, and brake light both yellow and green should have voltage. test the connection on the truck. then hook it up to the trailer and test the wires on there. if you have a flat 4
Brown wire is tail lights
yellow wire left turn
green wire right turn
white is ground
if you have a 7way round or 6way round here is the diagram for them on etrailer.com
