Trailer brake problem

OK, I have a Prodigy controller in my '01 F250, that I have had since new. For some odd reason, it no longer recognizes the trailer. All the lights work, but it show no connection (NC) in the brake controller. I tested the controller and it is receiving power and sending power when actuated, but nothing is going to the back of the truck.
Is there a fuse for this that I am missing or possibly a relay after the controller?

No fuse or relay after the controller. If their is outgoing power at the controller but not at the back, then the wire is broken or corroded through. You'll have to chase it down and find the problem.

Another possibility is that the ground at the back is bad. You might find another good ground to use for a test light to be sure. And check your test light with another power source to make sure it's working.

Check the wiring going into the back of the trailer plug. I've caught mine on stuff a few times and the wire for the trailer brakes has a cut in the insulation and is slightly corroded. I'm assuming by lights, you mean the running lights on the trailer?

The problem is most likely in the blue wire circuit.

I figured it was probably a wire between the controller and the back. I have brake lights/turn signals, trailer lights, but no brake. I checked the brake wire halfway to the cab and no power to it.
It's definitely not anything on the trailer, I hooked it up to my travel trailer last night and the same thing, everything works except the brakes.

Check the plug under the dash where your controller plugs into the factory harness and make sure its sending power out there (the blue wire).

Did you double check that the fuse under the hood isn't blown? Its a 30 amp maxi.
