Its directly behind the throttle body, between the firewall and the back-side of the throttle body. Its a small soleniod that is bolted right to the back of it. Mine did the same thing, would start but would cut off after a second. I took mine off and cleaned it with some carb cleaner, that was a year ago, and its still working fine.
To determine if this was the culprit, I actually tapped on it with a plastic screw-driver handle while the wife was cranking it over, and i could actually hear it click over and open up.

Thanks alot V10_X... The IAC value was the problem... I cleaned it really good and works like a champ...
ALthough I must fuss up to a little boo-boo.... Seems that while I was testing out the truck after reinstalling the IAC, I didn't connect the air intake back, "I was spraying carb cleaner in etc" Any how, the truck would start up and idle just fine. When I stepped on the gas it would die, and then finally the "check engine" light came on...
