7.3 IDI won't start when warm
Hi I've got an f350 4x4 cc 7.3 idi w. e40ad, recently won't start without assistance from the dreaded ether, hot or cold, drove it about thirty miles shut it down, in at dmv for license renewal , 10 minutes tops, came out just cranks, hard, won't start , gave it a small shot of ether fires up, back home shut it down starts right back up unless it sets more than a couple of minute,s then won't start, volt check and load test on optima batteries 13.5 volts with less than a .5 volt drop on load test.......???I.P.???? help I know small block chevys inside and out but not these cornbinders!!!! love the truck, put 100k plus on it, p.s. just replaced fuel filter prior to the run to dmv, did not change.....thanks
