1st. Tune Up
I have reached 4000mi on my 95 302HO crate motor I installed in a 85 F150. I have a Hi-Energy ignition system that Ford sells that is made by MSD. (Hi-Energy coil by Ford motorsport)What kind of plugs and at what gap should I get? Thinkin about replacing the wires too. I have my timming at 10deg.
I should be gettin a pack of metering rod springs for the AFB today.

I just turned 4500 on mine. I don't plan on doing any tuneup stuff though. I might play with that a little next summer. I've got my ZOOPs stuff on with the GM power steering pump and it works great. (Looks better too).
MSD recommends a gap of between .050-.060 for a 10.5:1 compression engine or less. They suggest setting it in .005" increments until optimum performance is met. (Sounds like a pain in the butt.)
Hope everything is running good on your 302.
