Trim package question
I'm looking to buy a 95 4.0 ext 4x4. Yesterday I looked at one that might be a decent hopeful. It had XLT plastic decals, but no power windows, doorlocks, ect. The only things I saw that looked special were the 60/40 seats and AM/FM/cassette.
What exactly is the difference between an XL and a XLT package?

My XLT is pretty much a base model. Power nothing, base drivetrain, but carpet, cargo lamps, an actual steering wheel and wheels with rubber on them, unlike the XL...joke.
Later models may actually give the XLT some meaning, but not in my case.
I'm not complaining, since I don't want power packages on my rides.

Even on the newer Rangers, an XLT designation does not guarantee that you get the power option(s). It just happens to be that more of the newer XLT Rangers came equipped with these options, so it might seem like they became a part of the XLT package. But it's not automatic like that.
I've been searching the ads and wonder what was up. Lots of options out there I guess.
