Electrical prob
My 2002 F150 Supercrew is acting up. Door ajar light, interior lights stay on. The door locks are constantly trying to lock themselves. I'm parking it out by the street with the battery disconnected till I can get in to the dealer Mon (6/13) so it does not suddenly burst into flames and burn my house down.

You may want try to spray some wd-40 into the door latches. I owned a ’98 Ford Ranger in which the dome light would not shut off after shutting the doors (it even would come on at random while driving down the road). After spraying wd-40 into the latches, I had no further problems. I think I had to spray the latches a couple of times. Evidently the door ajar/light sensor was located within the door latch.

Just got home with the truck. It was a switch in the drivers door they replaced on warrenty. Although they first gave me a bill for $155+, I made them check and yup, still got a couple months of warrenty left.
