Rear Lift

Ok, I've got the front dealt with for lifting, now its time for rear. Blocks or add-a-leafs? I'm leaning more towards the add-a-leafs because it will increase the bed capicity somewhat. What should i get. I was planning on installing this with a friend at the shop he works at. Anything I should know before hand. Are there going to be any aligments or things of that nature that have to be accounted for after the lift. I'm lifting the front 2" and the rear 1" not that much, but enough to clear 33*12.5's, even out the truck, and maintain the full articulation of suspension.

Look into some 1" shackels they would be cheaper and easier to install. But if u want that extra payload capacity add a leafs would be good. Blocks are kinda like a body lift cheap and affordable nothing more. I don't think a rear allignment would be necsesary. I put new leafs a shocks on my truck w/o a allignment and no probs since then.

The lowest add-a-leafs that I have found give 2". The whole point for lifting the back is to level it out. So it looks like blocks as of now unless I find leafs that add jsut an inch.

You could always crank your torsion bars up front if you havent already, this will level the front back out more with the rear. It makes a pretty big difference!

he doesn't want to compromise articulation.....they make a coil spacer for 97-03 F150....that may be the way to go for the front...i'd go with the leaf's for the back....like you said more payload and you keep the articulation
