replacing 302 with 400m
I have a 1980 Bronco with a 302 in it and I have a 400m with tranny that will most likely replace it. I was able to find motor mounts for a 1981 400m F150 application at a local parts store.
I have the 4x4 rear sump oil pan for it as well. Question is, is this as easy as it looks so far? or do the chassis motor mount perches need to be changed?

If I remember correctly when I was investigating the mounts for my 300 I6 to 351W swap, the perches for the big blocks were different than the 302/351W. I can check my Chilton's when I get home, but that's my recollection. The only other item to check is the tranny mount and measuring the length from the front motor mounts back to the tail shaft to make sure that your new combo is the same length as the 302 combo. You may need to move your tranny mount back a little and shorten your drive shaft, but a quick check with the tape will give you the answer.
