MSD ignition question

I'm looking to put a new ignition system in my 60 F-150 302 EFI. I'd like to use a MSD system so I can use thier 8680 in-cab adjustable timing module. Will something like a MSD-6a module along with the timing module and a new coil work with out any problems? If so how does the wiring go? I know some other companys sell ignitions kits specifically for the EEC-TFI system, but i haven't seen anything like that from MSD. Any help appreciated.

MSD ignition question

I've got the same setup in my '82 with carb. I purchased MSDs plug adapter that runs between the distributor and the MSD box. The instructions are very thorough, you just need to find the right combo in their material and follow the diagram for your setup. The adjustable timing control is equally as well documented, just check your timing after installation and set accordingly. I have the middle (8 1/2) set at 12 BTDC and I can adjust the timing between 4 and 24 BTDC.

MSD ignition question

I'm planning on taking a mass-air injected Mustang 5.0 and putting it in there sometime soon. Not sure if I'm gonna get the ingnition now, or wait, but either way I'll go with the same setup. Also, can anyone recomend a cam to use with mustang engine. I'd mainly be looking for low-mid range power, cause i plan to run the local 1/4 mile once I get it done. Other plans include 65 or 70mm throttle body, GT-40 intake and 19 lb. injectors. How's that sound to yall? I've never built any kind of performance engine, so I'm trying to get as much information as I can. Thanks.
