well guys....im looking for some help. i had a toyota tacoma, lifted, 35s, x-cab 4x4. i loved it, badass truck....mini truck rather. to small and under powered i traded her in for a 2002 dodge ram quad cab 4x4 with the slt trim and the 5.9 litre 360. after a few months and 12 miles a gallon i decided if i truely want the truck i want i need to get rid of the money and start saving. i got me a gas thrifty (in comparison) wrangler and saving close to 2-300 a month on gas and payment. i have planned on another dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the 4.7 but my friends have been pushing me towards an 04 f-150 4x4. what are the numbers in comparison, gas, power, tire sizes i can run with some spacers, anything else i might wanna know. i know on www.thetruthabouttrucks.com they ford didnt have much over the dodge, so anything might help. thanks guys
The only way a dodge can beat a Ford in power is with there larger more gas consuming HEMI. Fords 5.4l pushes 300hp and 365tq. Gas milage all depends on how you drive, a little easy 17mpgs. I think all 4x4 come with 32s, but you can fit 33s with no spacers.
