How do i remove "catch" in fuel tank?
I travel to remote locations w/ my exped and have atv's and a buggy to fuel. Since it is not convenient to transport fuel in the expedition, or on the rear with a rack, I wanted to draw fuel from the expeditions gas tank. I bought a siphon, but found the hose can only go a few feet before hitting a "catch".
On a show, i noticed that they were able to draw fuel from an exped, so i assume there may be a easy way to remove the catch. any ideas?

I believe it maybe very difficult to do. I have no experience "yet" with my Expeditions fuel tank. On my 1996 Blazer there is a ball slighlty larger than a golf ball in the filler neck. Gravity lets the ball sit in a basket and the fuel comming down the neck goes around the ball. If the vehicle would tip on its side or roll over the ball rolls up to seal the filler neck and help prevent fuel from spilling out. i would suggest removing the filler neck from the tank and fender so you can look through it, if it has a clear path maybe try to fish the siphon in the tank with out the filler neck to look for the restriction.
