leafs or blocks
ok guys, i have a 90 f-150 4x4 thats lifted 2.5"(susp) the rear lift block measures 1 3/4" i can go with the 3" block or i was thinking to add 1 or 2 leafs to each side using ford leafs, any opinions on what to do, BTW i just bought a class3 hitch and using a car trailer once in a while so i thought the xtra leaf would help.

buy an actualy add a leaf, (make sure you gget the long one for a smoother ride) and take that block out, you should be close to the original height, maybe a bit higher, and the springs will be stiffer for hauling that trailer
just adding more stock leaves wont do much in the lift department, jus tmake it stiffer

alright i just ordered a pair of add a leafs from suspension connection, hopefully i can figure out how to install them, i put my own lift in hopefully i can do this! Any useful install instructions appreciated!

pretty easy to do. unbolt the rear axle, lift up frame with floor jacks and then use jack stands to suspend it, put on c clamps to hold leaf pack together, take off leaf spring centering bolt, use c clamps to hold leaf pack together up to where you want to put the add a leaf, insert add a leaf, install new leaf spring centering bolt, bolt your axle back up and you're done!
