had a gibson single pipe on my 02 F-250 V10 and it sounded great, just have the stock on my 05. like the sound, however would like just a little more growl. thanks krewat.
NoMo, so happy to hear another happy V10 buyer. So few of us are taking advantage of one of Ford's best ideas in many years. I passed many semis the last two weeks. These are long B-train units doing 65 MPG on two way traffic roads and I never needed a run even though I weighed over 11000 pounds, I would hang close, wait for my space and hammer her, you feel the rush, you hear the motor scream up to 5200 RPM, upshift smooth, and speed climbing fast up to 85 MPH,
and wham your past that truck and back in your own lane with lots of time to spare,
What a feeling!
Thanks guys. I'm no newbie to the V10... this is my 4th one.
I just can't believe how much better the '05 is when compared to the '00, '01, and '02 model V10s I've owned. The combination of 3 valves and extra tranny gear is amazing. Even with less than 300 miles on it, this new truck is a lot stronger than the '01 w/full Banks Powerpack I used to own.
