power locks
Does anyone know an easy way to re and re a right hand power door lock actuator? Can it be removed without diassembling the latch assy mechanism? Not much room and light in the door panel.I have a 00 Mazda 4+4

Latch — Door
Special Service Tool(s)
Heavy-Duty Riveter or equivalent
501-D011 (D80L-23200-A)
Removal
µ 1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the front door trim panel; refer to «Section 501-05».
3. Remove the watershield.
4. Remove the door glass run retainer; refer to «Section 501-11».
µ 5. Disconnect the front door latch control cylinder rod from the door lock cylinder lever.
µ 6. Remove the outside door handle actuating rod.
1 Unclip the outside door handle actuating rod.
2 Remove the outside door handle actuating rod.
µ 7. If equipped, drill out the power door lock actuator rivet.
µ 8. Remove the front door latch screws.
9. Disconnect the interior lamp switch and the door ajar switch electrical connectors.
l If equipped, disconnect the power door lock actuator electrical connector.
10. Position the door latch assembly aside.
µ 11. Remove the front door latch cable watershield.
µ 12. Remove the front door latch cable.
1 Remove the cable conduit from the door latch.
2 Disconnect cable from the door latch.
µ 13. Remove the door latch push button rod.
14. If equipped, disconnect the power door lock actuator from the door latch assembly.
