Welcome to the forum. This is probably the best place to come and talk these trucks. The guys on this board will do just about everything short of driving over to your house and getting under your truck for you. As for your question. Pre-turbo is the most accurate since there is not much heat loss at that point. Run a search that is located at the top of the forum page using the keyword "pyrometer" and you will find some informative threads, one of which deals with your very question. Hope that helps.
