That list is way too long to read through to find my fear. Maybe I have a fear of long lists? There are some funny ones on there though.
Actually I know I have a fear of talking to more than 1 or 2 people at a time. And a fear of answering my telephone. God Bless caller ID.
I'm not too scared of heights...like, I can be in an airplane and not care. What gets me, is being on the edge of something, and then looking down, like when cleaning my gutters, or looking down out of the Sears Tower. It's not looking out the windows, it's feeling like, 'if I lean on this window, I'm going to go thru it.'
Also, my weird one, is water...kind of. Not like drinking it, or swimming in it. I love boating, fishing and swimming. What gets me is things like, if I were on some kind of ship, and fell over board, or, falling in between a ship and the dock...that would freak me out the most. A sinking ship....I'd probably have a heart attack before I touched a drop of water. I don't like knowing there is something below the surface that I can't see either....especially back bay sludge on the bottom. One time I went water skiing, and fell in a shallow area, and when I stepped out of the skis, I sunk about 2 feet in sludge...not even mud. I haven't been in the bays since.
And spiders. Yes...I'm 24, and 200 lbs...but I'm deathly afraid of spiders of all sizes and colors. My car was even infested last year, and I nearly drove off the road multiple times when one would creep out of the vent or something.
- Insects
- Bodies of water (flying over and not in control of, boating over out of sight of shore and not in control of)
- Heights
- Public Speaking
- (here is a wierd one not located on that list) Food/debris on Eating Utensils (plates and utensils must be perfectly clean before I'll use them - which means I undergo a bizzarre ritual of cleaning and polishing them before eating)
probably many more if I thought about them!

chemical phobia - I worked for many years in poorly run factories and laboratories, saw a lot of terrible things happen to other people and had too many close calls myself. I bleed brakes with a visor, use the non-toxic version of anti-freeze, wear gloves to change oil. So long as your phobia doesn't stop you from doing the things you want to do.....
I have a fear of heights. The bad thing is that roofs and airplanes don't bother me.. It's the ladders and lifts that bother me.. Maybe it's more a fear of falling..
That's an interesting list. I didn't know there were so many phobias.
I actually met a girl about 4 months ago that was seriously afraid of syrup, like maple syrup. Her and I and one of my other friends were at breakfast and the waitress brought syrup for my pancakes. Stephanie (the syrup phobic) told me that I had better keep the syrup on my sde of the table. I thought she was kidding and just kind of giggled. That's when she told me that she was seriously afraid of syrup. I guess she can't hardly stand to walk down the isle it's on when in the grocery store.
Evedently, she got it in her hair when she was really young and since then she can't stand it.
I guess it goes to show you people can get a fear of all most anything.
