Wheel plugs??
It's getting close to the Billings mud bogs. You still planning on going? I can't...dang wedding is still on. Guess I haven't got her mad enough at me yet...I still have a week or so to get her mind changed......
You need tools to take off a 16.5" tire? Heck, I've always just let the air out and watched the tire fall off.........almost serious, too!!!
Cody
Yeah its not the bead falling off the rim i need a tool for, its poping the tire off the rim to seperate the two, the tire machine we have is a heck of a lot quicker than a couple of tire irons and brute force. TO set the bead is 10 times easier, either makes quick work of that
.Yeah Cody i'm still planning on heading down there but weather its going to be in the middle of spraying the crops i don't know, but if all else fails i will at least come down and watch, i have a bunch of friends down in bozeman and billings at the University's and this would be a good excuse to go and visit them, but i'm am trying my hardest to make it down there with my 81, it sure would be nice to win some money at one of these things.

I also found some foam ones, but they are for 15" wheels
.Instead of having tabs weldes on the wheel, just replace of 4 the 8 studs with studs from a rear duallt axle, then using them long funky nuts (imagaine about 3-4 nuts welded together) with a a certian lenght bolt on one end, place the bolt through the holes carefully drilled in the plug (built to be able to stay in place on its own, when the vehicle is stopped)run the bolt through the hole, place the nut on the other end and screw it on about halfway, weld the 2 together, repeat for the other three and then bolt to the longer studs
.
