I've been thinking about cutting off the whole exhaust just before the first cat. Then purchase a Dynomax high-performance/flow cat and attach it. Run some pipe back a bit to a glass pack, and then out the side before the rear tire.
Does this sound like a good plan?
I would like a different setup but not sure what to pick. I was offered a single in dual out setup for $350 installed.
I either want dual straight out the back or out before the rear wheels.
The 300-6 sounds perty crappy at high rpm's usually in my opinion. It seems to start to rice out at around 2000-2500 rpms. AS for idle sound quality to 2000 it sounds awesome, kinda half small block sound/half diesel.
What's the website with all the exhaust sound clips called? I heard a whole bunch of them on there. I just can't remember the website name i'm sure someone will be able to tell you on here.
