We just bought a Zenith 42" Plasma televison from Nebraska Furniture Mart to replace my Panasonic big screen built in 1993 (and will only program 65 channels). We splurged a little and they had 0% financing for 24 months and rarely buy something for ourselves that isn't needed or practical. Anyway, I got them to throw in a wall mount (worth $250) and my question is, how high to I hang it on the wall? Should I just go with the middles (heigth and width)? Also, should I drill holes in the wall and run hide the cables behind the paneling? Any suggestions or pictures anyone has would be appreciated.
hiding the wires would look a lot nicer, and set it to where it's the most comortable. Maybe make a 42" cardboard cut-out, and tape it on the wall in different spots. Each time you do, get comfortable in your chair, and in different positions. That'll probably work the best. Pick the one your most comfortable with, and watch away.
Oh, and what time should I come over? Let's watch Lethal Weapon.
sit on the chair or couch you watch tv in and get comfortable, then look straight at the wall where you want to mount it, center it in the middle of you field of view.
