I have a new 05 EB Exp. I want to install a power jack for my Radar jammer in my overhead front console( the one with maplights and sunroof and heating controls.Can anyone tell me how on earth to get that silly thing down?
I surely don't want to mark or break it.. !

Monsta, my console only has the heating controls, maplights and sunroof switch. It is about 8-10" oval so to speak.. So given that is the same true? I am not sure how to grab it. as it is really tight ! could I use a flat blade screw driver to help on each side? I am assuming there are like fingers holding it up? Is there like a sub assembly below that stays on the ceiling?

Try to pull down one side first. If you use a tool then make sure it is wide and flat. Even though mine is tight (I don't have a sunroof on this truck
) I can still get my fat fingers under one side.
