code 22 ?

code 22 ?
sometimes when i scan my truck in koeo mode it will produce a code 22 "manifold absolute pressure or baro sensor out of range", but not all the time. Does anyone know what that is and why it only happens about a third of the time?

Barometric Pressure Sensor .....on a gasser its a MAP .. Manifold air pressure. If you look on top the heater box there should be a black Item with 4 wires attached to a firewall bracket. All Fords of our vintage have them..........
The purpose oif the BARO is to change the shift schedule at higher altitudes so as not to burn up the trans because of lower power........
