topper fitment question

I have a 1984 F250 long box. Any one know if a topper from a 1997 F150 would fit. The topper is the type were the tail gate is removed and there is a door on the back of the topper. Or if I knew the exact height and bed width for a 97 that would work too.

Thanks

i believe that the 97 up beds are a few inches narrower unless it is a f-250hd or f-350.

too small

I believe that the 97 F150 was the first year that they made the bed smaller. If it was a 96 F150 then it would work.
