I use the splitfires in my 351W and they work fine. I think it exposes more of the electrode to the combustion chamber. The Bosch platinum 4 probes would even give better exposure I would think.

I put spitfires in my 90 F150 w/ 300 I-6 just recently and really like the performance boost. But I've heard you get more with the wires and cap set, too. Also heard that the Bosch platinum 4's boost performance more and last longer, but they're really high $$$$. I bought the splitfires because of a rebate...$6 back out of $24 for a net cost of $18, or $3 a plug. I think its a worthwhile investment for your 6.

I have used both, and prefer the Bosch over the split fire. The Bosch is a better plug, last longer and is more resistant to fouling.
