I have had it with the Big Brother signs staring at me! If I flip the visors so I cannot see the signs, the visors will not stay in place and sag down too far. I want visors to replace the stock SuperDuty visors ASAP, PLEASE!!! WHERE can I get them? My dau will get this truck so I would like a mirror on the driver's side, too. non-illuminated, please. I have tried local shops and that was non-productive. JC Whitney only offers a few for GM trucks.
I presume he is talking bout the warning labels on the visor there was a guy who had some funny labels he put over the warning ones a while back...i can't find the post though

Thnx guys but I want REPLACEMENT visors! Putting a label over a label is not what I am after. If these peeled off, would I be......... I also want to add the driver's mirror for my dau, as stated initially.
Danko - Thanks for raising the issue. Those signs drive me crazy too. And I'll definitely try the hair dryer trick. In fact, I'll do it tonight Nisiar. My 350's only a couple of months old so I'll cross my fingers.
Son of a gun. I set a heat gun to just under 400 degrees and the big brother signs peeled right off. I hate to admit it to anyone, but I spent half an hour a month ago picking unsuccessfully at those things and finally gave up. These forums are great!!
BINGO !!!!!! The hairdryer got the three stickers off and it looks pretty good. Then I went to a 2003 F150 HarleyDavidson and those came off too but left some residue. So what's the best stuff to remove the residue? Hell, why not ask ya'll? You have come through pretty well so far for me and my dau can just use the rearview mirror because we are now keepin' the stock visors. Thnx again!!!
Before trying any chemicals, try an ice cube. Yeah, sounds weird but it gets gum out of a kid's hair and it won't hurt the material on the visor.
If that fails, try Goo Gone. This IS A CHEMICAL! Try it somewhere not visible to see if it changes the color. Rub it in real good while scraping a bit. The clean it up and let it sit for a couple-few days to see what, if anything it does to the texture or color of the material.
It can be purchased in most craft stores and some grocery or wal-mart, etc.
The tall, slender 4 oz. bottle is clear, black label and cap and the fluid is yellow.
Do not use on silk, wool, leather, vinyl, rubber or latex. It may dull some plastics.
Do not apply it directly, use a rag. Read the precautions!!
I stress again, TEST IT IN A HIDDEN LOCATION FIRST!!!!!!!
This stuff is real good.
Thnx! I think I am going to try dish soap first. This father of five has found that peanut butter works better than ice cubes for bum in hair. Really! The oil in it works on the gum and softens it for removal.

I wouldn't put peanut butter on it, it will probably discolor it.
Good luck with your trials.
Make that Gum in hair, not bum. The peanut butter was for HAIR, not the visors and no ........ the peanut butter did not discolor the hair of my five redheads.
